Transcendental Meditation is taught by accredited teachers, through a series of individual and small group sessions.
TM is easy to learn and pleasant to practise - anyone can do it.
The First Step
The first step in learning Transcendental Meditation is to attend an Introductory Talk. These talks are free of cost and obligation, and are held on Tuesdays at 1:30pm, and Wednesdays at 5:30pm, at our York St Centre. If you can't make these times, we can arrange another at a time that suits you.
Our Introductory Talks provide an opportunity to find out more about how Transcendental Meditation works, what its benefits are, and how it is unique amongst meditation techniques. They also give you the chance to meet with an accredited Transcendental Meditation teacher, and ask any questions you may have.

Personal Instruction
To ensure maximum effectiveness, Transcendental Meditation is taught through personal, one-to-one instruction by accredited teachers. Every person is different, and every person has a different pace of learning. Personal Instruction allows everyone to learn at their own pace, and allows the teacher to tailor the instruction to best accommodate each and every individual.
Accredited Teachers
Our teachers are trained to a high and internationally consistent standard. All accredited TM teachers undergo an intensive, 5 month in-residence Teacher Training Course, where they learn how to pass on the simple but subtle technique of Transcendental Meditation, and also how to tailor the teaching to suit each individual's needs and pace of learning.

If you would like to check the accreditation status of someone offering to teach you Transcendental Meditation, you can enquire through the official Transcendental Meditation, Australia website.
Lifetime Follow Up
After being taught TM from an accredited teacher, you are eligible to attend group meditation and meditators knowledge sessions at our Sydney TM centre, and at any accredited Transcendental Meditation centre, worldwide.
